Although soccer tends to be a game of fundamentals and mechanics, there is a certain style component that should be considered as well. Players are asked to bring their personality and creativity into the game. The Vizari Blossom Soccer Ball is a bright pink masterpiece of design that allows a player to begin finding the right way to express themselves with the ball.
What Are the Features of the Vizari Blossom Soccer Ball?
To get started, this soccer ball comes deflated. You’ll need to have a ball pump on-hand before using it. If you don’t have one at home, then consider heading down to the local gym to get the ball inflated properly.
The PU cover on this ball is bright pink, so we’d expect some fading to occur when exposed to the sunshine on a repetitive basis. We found that the durability of the design was exceptional, with no fading issues at all. It also handles quite well under wet conditions, which is difficult for some of the cheaper soccer balls to do.
Multiple sizes are available so that players of all ages can take advantage of what this soccer ball is able to provide.
It doesn’t come with a 32-panel design, but it does have the traditional hexagon panels over the entire cover of the ball. This allows players to work on some ball movement skills, as well as placement drills, with relative ease at home.
Items of Note with the Vizari Blossom Soccer Ball
If you have a youth player for whom you are purchasing this soccer ball, then take note that the Size 3 ball in this series is closer to a Size 4 ball. The weight and feel is still accurate, so it is good for home practice and play. The sizing just might make it difficult to take this ball to practice for some players.
We also found that the relationship between the butyl bladder and the outer cover of this ball can be very temperamental. There doesn’t seem to be as much padding between the two as you’ll find in other balls, even entry-level balls, so that changes the inflation dynamics. We recommend using this ball at a lower-than-recommended air pressure due to this design, as any over-inflation could potentially cause the bladder to explode with a contact.
There were some impact concerns that we had with this ball as well. Although kicking, shooting, and passing are fine, impacts with a metal soccer frame tended to weaken the machine stitching just a bit. Repetitive impacts could have potentially caused a malfunction of this feature that could lead to the issues of common complaint with this ball – namely inflation levels and holding its overall shape.
Outside of those two observations, we found the Vizari Blossom Soccer Ball to be a bright and colorful product that offered us a fun experience. It has some higher level care needs, but it will help players practice and play with regularity.
